Church School at St. Barnabas

    The children's classrooms, downstairs in the Undercroft, are staffed beginning at 9:20 a.m. on Sunday for parents who wish to attend Morning Prayer in the nave.  Church School itself, for children of all ages, is held  from 10:00 am until about 10:40.  After church school, children may either join their parents for the remainder of the Mass, or they may stay downstairs in the play room.  Those staying downstairs will be brought to the altar rail during communion to receive a blessing and then return downstairs.

    The Church School utilizes a team teaching approach with the gracious work of the following people:  Marty Bell, Mary Brown, Audrey Cuevas, Sam Egger, Aimee Forbes, Amy Gohr, Cindy Salyards, and Tony Scheiblhofer.  Substitutes are Wanda Marsha and Fran Nich.

Baptism, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation

Classes designed to prepare children for First Holy Communion and Confirmation are offered occasionally. Instruction for adults wishing to be Baptized or Confirmed is also available. For more information, please contact Fr. Scheiblhofer.
